Does the laboratory have any accreditation status?
Yes. ABrC has the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorization, Australia (NATA). Almost every analysis conducted by ABrC is within the accreditation's scope. ABrC is also one of the official laboratories which appointed by the Ministry of Health under the 1983 Food Act.


How long does it take to produce the analysis result after sending the sample?
As soon as a sample is received, it will undergo for a few processes:  registration of sample, sample preparation, sample extraction, sample analysis and certification of the result. Usually it takes 14 working days to complete the whole process. Kindly contact the Technical Manager if you have any queries.

Are the analysis method used from standard method?
Most of the methods used are ‘in-house method’ which was validated based on the requirement of ISO/IEC 17025.


How to make the payment?
i.    Payment has to be made after issuing the invoice
ii.    All payments should be made to UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA
iii.    Payment by electronic transfer should be made to:

CIMB BANK, USM Branch
Account No. : each individual company will be given an account number

iv.    Cheques/Bank Draft should be crossed and made payable to Universiti Sains Malaysia and sent to :
