  • SERVICE

In its formative years, EVIDIAL AND FORENSIC TESTING REQUIRED BY GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE AGENCIES FOR REGULATORY AND RESEARCH PURPOSES WAS TESTED USING A VARIETY OF ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES. NOTE THAT ABRC IS AN ISO/IEC 17025 ACCREDITED LABORATORY UNDER NATA, AUSTRALIA'S NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TESTING AUTHORITIES. In order to protect both the client and the laboratory while enforcing the policies throughout any adjudication process, ABRC, as an accredited laboratory, PERFORMS ANALYSIS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES AS OUTLINED BY NATA. By establishing appropriate laboratory standards, NATA accreditation benefits ABRC by giving the laboratory a benchmark for maintaining performance. RIGHT NOW, ABRC HAS BEEN ACCEPTED IN FOUR (4) MAIN SCOPES, INCLUDING:

    .

    1. Workplace Safety
    2. Environmental Toxicology
    3. Food Safety and Security
    4. Biochemical and Metabolic analyses (i.e. Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) disorders in newborn infants)
  • TRAINING

THE CENTRE IS COMPLETELY SET UP WITH VARIOUS MASS SPECTROMETERS, SUCH AS LCMS QQQ OR GCMS QQQ, LCMS Q-TOF, MALDI-TOF, MALDI TOF/TOF, LCMS LTQ ORBITRAP, ETC. OUR VISION IS TO ACT AS A PLATFORM FOR THE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH OF SKILLED WORKERS COMPETENT IN THE FIELD OF ANALYTICAL BIOCHEMISTRY. The centre provides postgraduate study in addition to in-house and industrial training during this period (BY REQUEST). THE FOLLOWING ARE SUBJECTS OF TRAINING:

    .

    1. Biochemical analysis
    2. Environmental biochemistry
    3. Environmental toxicology
    4. Food Biochemistry
    5. Forensic toxicology
    6. Genomics
    7. Glycomics
    8. Lipidomics
    9. Metabolomcs
    10. Proteomics
  • RESEARCH

Research collaboration with various businesses and academic institutions is strongly welcomed because the centre also supports research and development (R&D) in the specific field of analytical biochemistry. Academicians and a number of top science officers are now supporting this research. Through high impact factor publications and research collaborations, we hope to become a respected research centre on a global scale.
